Hi, I’m Ellen, and I’m the chair of the Procure Plus Tenant Involvement Panel (TIP) as well as being a tenant from City South Housing Trust, one of Procure Plus’s member landlords.
The TIP at Procure Plus is an active group, involved in every aspect of Procure Plus’s work. There are a maximum of 12 members of the TIP, each attending one of Procure Plus’s working groups and therefore contributing to the operations and direction of the organisation. At present, tenants are represented on the Board, Core Group, CSR Group, the Green Hub and the Audit Committee.
As well as being a member of the TIP, Procure Plus has other ways in which tenants can be involved in its work. Tenants can sit on our reader panel, which checks the press releases sent out by Procure Plus, to ensure they are suitable and relevant to tenants. We then circulate these around each of the landlord’s tenant teams for inclusion in tenant newsletters.
There are also from time to time ‘special projects’ which require tenant input, like research into new products or services.
Tenant vacancies on any of the Procure Plus working groups will be advertised with landlords. If you are interested in being a tenant representative with Procure Plus please tell your landlord, who will then keep you updated with vacancies and opportunities as they arise.
