North West social housing procurement consortium, Procure Plus, is set to issue a contract notice for its recently developed New Build Brokerage Model. The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is due to be distributed in mid-November, and will invite main contractors to tender for the model, which will help Registered Providers (RPs) achieve significant cost savings on new build social housing projects.
Successful applicants will work with Procure Plus to deliver the New Build Brokerage Model which uses volume procurement and collaborative purchasing strategies to realise an average 15 per cent reduction in unit price. Via the model, RPs will be able to personalise their schemes from housing archetypes. RPs will also receive support from Procure Plus in maximising social enterprise and regeneration opportunities within their local area.
