Mike Brogan, Chief Executive

Mike Brogan began his career with a national financial services provider, working at a senior level in sales and operations management. Ten years ago, Mike decided to put something back and began working with Arena Housing Association, helping the organisation to build social enterprises. It was one of these ventures which became the seminal project for what is now Procure Plus Limited.

Four years on and Procure Plus is now recognised as the market leader in its field, setting the standard for socially responsible organisations of its kind.

His professional experiences with Arena Housing Association and Procure Plus mean Mike is an expert on socio and economic regeneration, and can advise on best practice for collaborative working in the social housing sector.

Mike is an active member of the following groups and committees:

  • Arena Futures
  • Greater Manchester Employer Coalition
  • AGMA carbon reduction strategy group

Brian Tarmey, Business Executive

Brian is responsible for systems, processes and business support at Procure Plus and has held the role of Business Executive since 2007. Prior to joining the organisation, Brian worked in various project management and customer service positions at high profile blue chip organisations.

Brian’s role is to ensure all Procure Plus systems and processes build on the best value offered by its framework partners and improve performance. Customer service is also a focus for Brian. In particular, he makes sure each client is given the right system to match their needs, and ensure projects are run on time and on budget.

Brian specialises in helping organisations achieve value for money from procurement services and promoting best practice in the sector.

Fiona has been part of the Procure Plus team since July 2008. Prior to this, Fiona was involved in front line policing and was part of the police public protection unit. Following seven years in the police, Fiona made the move to public sector change management, where all of her roles have since been partnership and multi-agency focussed.

Fiona is the lead on the ‘plus’ element of Procure Plus, meaning she is responsible for managing schemes such as Sense of Place, and oversees small business enterprise projects, skills, employment and training.

With a background in policing, Fiona specialises in social enterprise and tenant involvement, and helps registered providers foster positive community relations in their neighbourhoods.

Gwen has held a number of roles at Procure Plus since November 2008. Prior to this, Gwen worked in the construction industry, where she was project manager for contracting in schools and commercial sectors.

Within the organisation, Gwen is responsible for managing the operations team, expanding Procure Plus’ range of services, and working to secure new framework partners. One of Gwen’s current ventures is the implementation of the Schemes Plus e-trading platform within the operations team, members and supply chain.

Gwen has a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction from the University of Salford.
