Procure Plus Helps Stockport Homes Shine

North West social housing procurement consortium, Procure Plus, is helping Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) Stockport Homes implement its SHINE scheme, a multi-million pound project to install solar photovoltaics across 1,300 of its properties.

Using its purchasing and framework models, Procure Plus has helped Stockport Homes leverage significant volume cost savings on materials and contractors. As a result, Stockport Homes and has been able to secure a unit price of just £4k to £6k per home, which is a saving of up to 50 per cent on the typical unit price.
