A ‘Goodbye to Bernard Caine’

A ‘Goodbye to Bernard Caine’, who has been chair of the Tenant Involvement Panel (TIP) since it began four years ago. With the announcement that Bernard is stepping down on June 30th we realise that we could not have achieved what we have without him. The TIP has come so far over the past four years. Bernard took up his role when the TIP was just an idea, he galvanised the tenants and brought the TIP onto a proper and professional footing. We know that what we do is different to most other similar organisations and a lot of the success of that is down to the tenants.

Following a farewell meal and a speech from Mike Brogan - Chief Executive of Procure Plus, Bernard responded: ‘There’s a determination from the top that tenants should have greater involvement in procurement and I’m sure that will continue. The staff of Procure Plus have made it a good experience.’
