GMEC

Greater Manchester Employment Coalition (GMEC) is a network of over 300 local employers working together to make Greater  anchester a better place to live and work. It works to open up job and career opportunities to the whole community. The UK  overnment has worked in partnership with business to fund and resource the Employer Coalition Network, creating the not-for-profit
organisation Working Ventures UK.

The principle objective is to help disadvantaged people move into sustainable employment. Exit to Work is a collaborative initiative that Working Ventures delivers, to secure employment for the most challenging of disadvantaged groups – those with a criminal record. Procure Plus, its clients and contractors support the Exit to Work programme to ensure those making the transition back into employment are successful.
