Procure Plus is an increasingly expanding not for profit regeneration company based in Old Trafford. We are a consortium of social housing providers primarily with stock in the North West but also working in partnership under the Re:allies collaboration in the North of England.  

We work with key integrator partners as well as several other regional and national agencies in order to generate efficiencies and impact local communities and labour markets via the procurement of materials and contractors for our clients. 

The growth has led to two exciting new opportunities to join the Procure Plus team;

 

Procurement Manager

£41,000pa, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, generous car allowance, and contributory pension scheme.

In the role of Procurement Manager you will be working closely with other senior managers from across the client organisations and integrator partners to provide a professional and compliant procurement management service.
 
You will seek to maximise the benefits for the social housing providers, having full regard for the overarching objectives of the business. You will be expected to support new initiatives and methods of working on behalf of Procure Plus and ensure they are adopted by clients and external organisations.
 
It is important you have a proven track record at senior management level of successful procurement, and you will therefore need the following essential experience:
 
  • several years working as a procurement professional, including development refurbishment, repair, consultancy and  social housing;
  • framework agreements and general contract law;
  • mini competition and EU procurement directives;
  • risk management;
  • project management;
  • working collaboratively with partners and third party organisations;
  • influencing and negotiating in delicate situations;
  • financial management involving budgeting and costings;
  • proactive intervention in situations where issues arise.
 

It is also vital that you have excellent planning and organisational ability and that you can confidently communicate with clients ensuring that they are provided with an excellent service.

This role does not involve heavy supervision, and therefore, the successful person must be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate self belief and perseverance.

Project Developer

£38,500pa, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, essential user car allowance, and contributory pension scheme.

In the role of Project Developer you will provide a high quality effective project development and management service to Procure Plus and its clients, optimising benefits to the social housing providers in the consortium and have full regard for the overarching objectives of the business. 

It is important you have a proven track record at a senior level of successful project development, and you will therefore need the following essential experience: 

  • project management;
  • contract management and procurement;
  • working collaboratively with partners and third party organisations;
  • influencing and negotiating in delicate situations;
  • financial management involving budgeting and costings;
  • proactive intervention in situations where issues arise.
