Procure Plus and IMPACT Manchester have agreed to amalgamate the two organisations to benefit from economies of scale and a sharing of expertise, system and processes.

• The aim of the merger is to deliver a more consistent approach to the procurement of construction related products and services for members
• This will create better value for money for residents and provide increased community based benefits through a more cohesive regeneration strategy
• Timeline - by July 2010 everything needs to be in place – staffing, systems and new framework agreements for suppliers and materials
• The combined spend, in excess of £1 billion over four years, will be a terrific boost to the local economy when managed effectively
• The shared skills and resources will enable the merged business to continue to be innovative for the benefit of both organisations
