Shining a light on PV
Evaluating your options is critical when it comes to making any business decision and energy efficiency market is no exception. To support organisations working in this market, and in the ever evolving housing sector, Procure Plus is hosting a series of briefing sessions throughout 2015, exploring various hot topics.
The first session took place in Manchester and focused on the options available to public sector bodies and housing associations – particularly those looking to move towards solar photovoltaic energy (PV). The session gave attendees insight from key solar PV specialists and housing providers on a wide range of best practice examples, tips and case studies.
Delegates received information on a number of topics, including: latest information on Government policies which support energy efficiency, provided by a DECC FIT policy review group member; case studies from firms who have experience of implementing PV measures; and insight into the supply chain, giving delegates an idea of the pressures they may face when project managing PV installations.
Alongside this, the event was a great opportunity for networking, allowing delegates the chance to exchange experiences of PV with their peers.
The next event will take place in the summer, focusing on best practice, support and advice on the welfare reform and social responsibility. For further information about the event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
