The Final Push
Last weekend saw the team tackle 2 of Pendle’s own ‘Three Peaks’ in their final push for peak physical condition – Pendle and Weets Hills. For those of you not familiar with these walks they are set in gloriously varied and unspoilt countryside in an undiscovered corner of Lancashire. Moody, magnificent and steeped in history Pendle Hill can be seen for miles around whilst Weets offers the contrast of vibrant green pastureland, limestone country, and moorland gritstone.
Not that the team were aware of any of this as they upped their fitness regime (concentrated on potential excuses for next week) and honed their fashion sense in the final group session.
