The CITB fund will support people who are changing sectors, at risk of redundancy, or have no construction skills or experience to start their careers within the industry. Led by CITB, contractors will be supported to identify opportunities within their organisations, and the minimum skills needed for candidates to be able to move in to those roles. Procure Plus, along with partners including a range of community groups and local social enterprise, B4Box, will engage with candidates and provide appropriate training, leading to a real job within the industry.
