The organisation’s programmes aim to build confidence, resilience, and employability skills, particularly for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Re:Vision, a subsidiary charity of Procure Plus, has provided funding for certain programmes, helping to extend their reach and impact.

Uniting Communities Org CIC runs the South Asian Women’s Project, designed to engage South Asian women in tailored programmes such as employability and skills development. The programme offers a bespoke approach, recognising cultural sensitivities and creating a safe space for participants to build confidence, explore opportunities, and access support.

Goodlives supports people returning to work through practical workshops, skills development, and holistic support. Emma regained confidence and independence through the Upcycling Project, creative activities, and one-to-one guidance, improving her mental health, social connections, and practical skills.

Procure Plus’ CITB Onsite Experience programme prepares local people for careers in construction through pre-employment training and work placements. Harley, from Newcastle, gained health and safety training, hands-on scaffolding experience, and the confidence to pursue a construction career. Since its launch, over 90 participants have completed the programme, with more than 60 moving into work or apprenticeships.
